Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-10

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IntentHunter, operated by IntentHunter (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

IntentHunter monitors public conversations on third-party platforms (currently Reddit, Hacker News, X, YouTube, Bluesky, and LinkedIn) and uses AI to surface threads that are relevant to your product, ICP, and tracked keywords. We deliver those signals via the in-app inbox, email digests, and optional integrations including Slack, Discord, Telegram, webhooks, and the Model Context Protocol.

We add and remove monitored sources, models, and integrations over time. Beta features may change or be removed without notice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use IntentHunter. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials and API/MCP tokens secure, and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, defame, spam, or deceive any person or community on a connected platform
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our models, prompts, or scoring logic
  • Resell, sublicense, or repackage IntentHunter output as your own product
  • Use the service to violate the terms of any third-party platform we monitor or integrate with (Reddit, Hacker News, X, YouTube, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, Telegram, OpenAI, etc.)
  • Submit content that infringes anyone’s intellectual property or violates applicable law

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, with or without notice.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the project profiles, keywords, competitor lists, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content as needed to operate the service — including sending relevant portions to AI sub-processors (e.g. OpenAI) for scoring and to integration endpoints you connect (Slack, Discord, Telegram).

5. Third-party platforms

IntentHunter relies on public APIs and data from third-party platforms. We don’t control those platforms; their availability, rate limits, and terms can change at any time. We also don’t control the integration destinations you connect (Slack, Discord, Telegram, webhook endpoints) — your use of those is governed by their own terms.

6. Subscription, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rates published on our pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we don’t pro-rate refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice for existing subscribers.

7. Free trial and beta

We may offer a free trial or beta access. During beta, the service is provided “as is” without warranty, and we may change or remove features without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The IntentHunter platform, including our code, models, scoring logic, brand, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose only — they don’t grant any other rights.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity. On termination, your stored project data, signals, and tokens will be deleted in line with the retention windows described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that any signal we surface will lead to a customer, reply, conversion, or business outcome.

AI-generated outputs (scores, summaries, classifications) can be wrong. You’re responsible for reviewing them before acting.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IntentHunter and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold IntentHunter harmless from any claim, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your replies posted on third-party platforms, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a notice on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IntentHunter is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
